A few years ago I had a panic attack trying to find my passport days before a foreign trip. It was the first time using it since I moved and I couldn't remember where the heck I put it. I was worried I may have to make an emergency road trip to L.A. and pay a lot of money to get one done on the spot. But fortunately, I remembered where it was. Whew!

If I'd had to replace it, it would have meant plopping down a big chunk o'money I don't have, then spending the next few weeks wondering whether I'd have to put off my trip. Urgh. Thank the Maker that's been averted.

The passport's only good for a few more months before I have to renew it, but that'll get me through this trip, and that's all that matters! :)
