First off, sorry I've been so negligent about keeping up with other people's LJs lately. Since I can no longer check LJ during my lunch/breaks at work, it ends up absolutely swamping me when I check it at home and I usually end up doing a lot of skimming

If you've never seen Santa Fe before, I bet you'll fall in love with it. A little more rainfall, a lot of height, gorgeous views. Hubby grew up on the next mesa, Los Alamos.

Being by myself was actually okay; I didn't get particularly lonely. It was the eight hours' driving part that sucked. ;) Next time, definitely NOT doing it alone, even though I'm glad I made the trip.
