Just out of curiosity, I logged into my online algebra classroom to see if my grade had, by chance, changed, or if that 79.4% from last night had been finalized as my official final grade. And I see...

80.3 %!!!!Looks like the teacher refigured some of my quiz grades, and/or applied some of my homework credit towards my quiz grades instead, where ( Read more... )

I went from a D to a B in this class - a low B is still a B on paper. Feels effing awesome. :D

Congrats!

I was always telling myself to stop by and was never finding the time so I'm saying it now... I really admire you for going back to studying. I think it must be quite hard to find a balance between having a full-time job and lessons and I'm really impressed with you managing to do that. I think it's great you did it and I wish I could do it myself, at least sometime in the future. So even more congrats for these results. :)

Thanks so much! *hugs*

I'm still working to find that balance, really. I started off with only two classes because I'd been out of it so long and didn't want to overwhelm myself too quickly and get discouraged. This semester I'm doing three, though one of those is online, so I'm working my way up. Both my on-campus classes are during normal workdays, which is going to take some creative (and potentially hectic) schedule juggling at work - but thankfully I seem to have understanding employers. :)

This time next year I could be doing my courses at a four-year university. Kind of unreal to think about. :)

Congratulations :D

And Abnormal Psych is an awesome subject. I loved it when I was still studying at Uni.

Thanks! :D

I'm really looking forward to that class. The professor is fantastic, and I think delving into a more specific field of psychological study will start to give me a better idea whether this really is a course I want to pursue long-term. So far so good: I looked at the Psych degree course outline for the four-year-school I'll likely be transferring to, and when I looked at the classes I had to take, I wasn't going "ugh, not that" to over half the classes like I was with Graphic Design. ;)
