That is one spectacularly crappy list they've compiled. I thought AFI lists were bad.

Damn, I've seen alot of movies (56 out of 100).

I admit to liking a number of movies on that list, but there are some truly bizarre exclusions.

Though my snobbery of pretty much everything "critically acclaimed" appears safe... all things considered, I really didn't see very many on that list, and many of those I only saw once, or haven't seen in years.

*snerk* To be fair, I actually like a number of the movies on this list a great deal. But "South Park" on the list instead of, say, the first Terminator? Or RotJ, or TLC? Erm, no.

I can understand the presence of movies like LotR or The Matrix, though they sure wouldn't be on any top 100 lists of mine.
