First off: it was so great getting to meet so many HP people at last! I'm finally able to put faces with names I've seen around forever - and meet new people as well! *mass glompage and LJ-friending*

Second off: like I said in purebloodgryff's LJ, I'm absolutely convinced

It really was. :) At times it was a little odd because it seemed I was the only one there who didn't already know everyone else, but it was overall great nonetheless.

Am I safe in assuming that 99.999% of the attendees were female? Even if I was in the right neighbourhood/hemisphere I don't know if I'd dare attend one of those things. It'd be nice to attach faces to LJ names though.

The majority were female, yes - but I don't know about that much. ;) There were quite a few men there.

I'd estimate there were 30-40 men in attendance, which is FAR FAR more than has been had in the past. I do believe word is spreading that HP cons are great places to meet pretty girls who like boys that wear glasses! :-)

I hope so too! *glomps* One of the bigger regrets I do have from Portus is that so relatively few people I knew from online made it.
