Well, bad news and good news...

Bad news for me: next month's Coldplay concert in OKC has been moved to November 16. Gah, FOUR MORE MONTHS of waiting! We'll know our next president before this concert. :P

Good news: I won't have to miss the first day of Portus, and I'll be there Thursday night, zorb! (And btw... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :))

I suppose it works out for the best, although I could have done without a FOUR month wait, heh.

Did our reservation include Thursday night, or do we need to go ahead and add that?

Have you heard the new album yet? I managed to get my hands on a leaked copy (I know, I know, I'm awful; but I plan on buying both the CD and the vinyl [if they release one, which, hello, I'm sure they will]), and it is AMAZING. Just absolutely incredible.

Not the whole album - just "Violet Hill," "Strawberry Swing," and "Viva la Vida." Love VH, but the other two my sister sent me just last night, so I haven't had time to fully process them yet.

Part of what was going to get me through this summer was knowing I'd get to hear some of these songs live before I nabbed the album. DAMN IT.
