Huh. When did PBS start running the new Doctor Who? I only glimpsed the last few minutes of the episode (I'd left the TV on PBS and dozed off with it muted), but judging from the absence of David Tennant, looks like it was somewhere in the first season

You're already a fair way through the season, so if you watch more, be aware that they're building on existing character developments even though the episodes are mostly stand alones.

I love Chris Eccleson. (The ninth doctor, the one in the episode you saw). David is lovely too, of course, but since Chris was the first doctor I invested in, I sort of miss him.

And I think everyone wants a Jim. I want a Jim. Occasionally I want and Dwight because he's just so damn funny. Never found myself wanting a Michael, though.

Really, looking at how he treats Angela, I think there would be worse guys to have than a Dwight.

Although if I had a Dwight, it'd have to be a package deal with Jim, because watching the two of them would entertain me for hours on end. :D

Michael... well, we've all seen what happens to the woman who wanted him. Poor Jan! ;)
