So is Morgana not a gorgeous take-no-prisoners BA witch like photosets I see on Tumblr keep leading me to believe? I watched like two or three episodes of Merlin a long time ago, was bored by it, and gave up long before the whole AND MORGANA BECAME EVIL BECAUSE REASONS nonsense went down. Those photosets made me think perhaps the show had finally made something of the storyline everyone complained about, but it sounds like not so much?

I think they're trying to go for that, but she comes off very inefficacious at times. There was quite a lot of flouncing and anger (which is understandable, as Morgana's got a lot of unresolved issues) but all the other villians get to be calm and competent and it's just... frustrating in comparison. She's always the "biggest threat" and yet she's pretty powerless without allies in-show, and as much as she herself is an actual threat to Arthur's power (her bloodline, her magic) they never really go into that.

PLUS SHE DIDN'T ASK MORDRED WHO EMRYS WAS! I just. Hopefully they'll explain that he was withholding information or something because otherwise...

It really is. Especially when I love her character and her existing mythological roots so much. :(

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS SO GLORIOUS 2 ME. The fact that's she angry and a little "property of Peggy Carter"; but fuck conversation, Peggy shoots first, asks questions later. (I also love Howard&Steve's expressions of terror/respect/admiration but that has little to do with this icon...)

It is a really glorious scene.

I love the white background and the white/gold dress, it just looks really crisp.

It really does. That was one of the things that caught my eye.

I get the giggles whenever I see a photoset for it. A+ faces all around. :D
