The first point of order is that I have made a flist cut, mostly because there is just no way I was coping (250 people/comms on my flist) and because I've mostly shifted most fannish interests to tumblr. I'm very active there so you're welcome to find me there. My LJ will probably be shifting to a more personal/diary/keeping up with LJ friends

MANY. The Hour, New Girl, Homeland, Arrested Development (well season 1), Sinbad! Also watching The Newsroom (mostly for the side characters and Dev Patel's face ngl) and Political Animals (which I really wish was written more consistently). Possibly also Pushing Daises, but I've only seen one ep as of yet.

How is New Girl? It looks cute but I haven't seen it. Also I hear good things about Pushing Daisies, but I haven't seen it either!

I absolutely love it! I was pretty resistant to it at first because I had this conception that is was some derivative of the "manic pixie girl" trope, but idk it's charming and honestly funny and it's got a lot of different ladies who aren't punished for being different!!! Also the dudes aren't constantly offensive about women which happens so often in other sitcoms.

It really, really is. I feel like "uni's easier" is a convenient lie just to make sure you don't just give up after year 12.
