I'd say it's "he is taller than me" because... no idea.
This site has a nice pronoun declension chart on it. (So, basically, my reasoning is: you would say "he's taller than her", so obviously it must be "me" and not "I". My old professor would be so ashamed of me.)
Yes, but otoh you could also say "He's taller than I am/she is", so idk?! Also, "Er ist größer als ihr" doesn't work, but I don't know how well that analogue works.
I bow to you and your superior google-fu. :D Also hatte ich mit meiner 'than I am'-Theorie doch Recht! Aber informell klingt 'than I' doch irgendwie konterintuitiv. Ich muss zugeben, ich hab mich noch nie mit der Beschaffenheit des Wortes 'als' beschäftigt, und es hat mir auch noch nie jemand erklärt, warum ihm nur ein Nominativ folgen kann. Meine Grammatik besteht größtenteils aus Bauchgefühl.
thanks! Huh, I hadn't anticipated that it would be such an issue! I thought it was just something nobody was sure about because everybody uses 'me' informally. So I guess I'll write 'I' in my English homework and say 'me' when talking :D Though for me the 'He's taller than I am' argument makes a lot of sense :P

Also, geht irgendwie beides.
(Aber nicht im Deutschen, da ist es sowieso immer der Nominativ, weil "als" eine Konjunktion bzw. Subjunktion ist und basta.)
