How choosing a room with a mural over one with central heating makes me not an adult.

This is my future:

1. I am going to study Transcultural Communication.
This is not my first choice (this is my fourth choice), but then, my first choice sucked, I didn't quite pass the entrance examination for the second choice, the third choice was actually my mother's choice, and then there were a few other half-assed choices in between. So I ( Read more... )

You're welcome to! Though I can only offer you either floor space. Or you could curl up in my antique(!) wardrobe in winter :D

Lady, I'm so happy you're working things out! It sounds like you have a lot of really sweet experiences ahead of you. And seriously, you are the perfect translator. It's not prob. not relevant to what you're translating, but your written English is suspiciously perfect. Graz sounds beautiful from the way you describe it.

Thank you! I'm not overly worried about my written English (though it's still reassuring to be complimented on it by a native speaker :D), but I need to practice my spoken English some more, every time I speak I'm surprised by my accent because the voice inside my head doesn't mix up v and w :P I wish I had a French accent, at least that way I wouldn't sound like I'm about to invade somewhere :P

Oh, your written English is flawless and I'm sure your spoken English sounds amazing. Anyone who's cool loves a German speaking/Austrian dialect accent. I don't want to assume I know what you would call your accent, haha. But have so much fun in college!

I have no clue what I call my accent, some days I'm not even sure which language I speak because it certainly doesn't sound German to me :P

We have a wood burning stove at home too, so I know the warmth is quite different and a lot more cozy than central heating, but I also know how I hate getting up in the morning when nobody has lit the fire yet. :P Well, at least I know what I'm getting into :)

You're coming to Graz? That's BRILLIANT! I'm only here for another year, so I plan to make the most of it - wanna join in? :)
