Have a hard-boiled egg, mister?

No hard-boiled eggs with slightly runny yolk and toast soldiers?

It was too much to expect, anyway. Have some art in stead.

Hehe, well since you asked... *g*

I've been dying to see someone draw a young Tonks. Six or seven years old, with Remus and/or Sirius looking after her. I'm really tickled at the thought of Tonks having a crush on Remus from the time she was a little girl. :)

Anyway, not really any specific ideas, though the beginning scene in this chapter of the R/T (unfinished) novel is something to that effect: http://archive.skyehawke.com/story.php?no=4555&chapter=4

Anyway, that's the first thing I think I would draw if I actually could. 'course I wouldn't blame you if you thought it was a silly idea. :-p

Ideas like this are never silly, just like there are no such things as stupid questions (most of the time).
I'll have a look at that chapter as soon as I have time ^^

Aaaahw LAPDOG!!!!!! Cool drawing ^_^ I really don't have a clue what Discworld is (it makes me think of Dip 'n Dots..Icecream from the USA :P haven't got a clue why though)...it's probably a very cool book ;)

Well you asked for some inspiration...Well I'm actually looking for an Avatar..to be more precise..I'm looking for an Ava of Charlie Weasley..looking very cute ^_^...(maybe with a cute Dragon..preparing the First Task)..^_^

Well, just see if it's something you would like to draw..you don't have too if you don't like it ^_^

Actually, Discworld is a series of some thirty-something books, by now, and it is being written by Terry Pratchett, who happens to be British.

I'll look into the Charly-matter. Can't promise anything yet, though.

That 'scary skellington' is DEATH, and that's the job description ;)

It depends on the book you pick up who and what it's going to be about. Broadly speaking, it's about the people on the Disc which is carried on the backs of fout giant elephants who in turn are swum through space by an enormous turtle.
Narrowly, though, it could be about DEATH and his granddaughter, Susan Sto Helit (try e.g. Mort, Reaper Man, Soul Music, Hogfather, Thief of Time); Rincewind the failed wizzard (e.g. The Light Fantastic, The Colour of Magic, Sorcery, Interesting Times, The Last Continent, The Last Hero); Ankh-Morpork and its City Watch (Guards! Guards!, Feet of Clay, Jingo, The Fifth Elephant, Night Watch); the witches Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax (Equal Rites, Witches Abroad, Wyrd Sisters, Maskerade); and the wizards of the Unseen University, who turn up in nearly every book that's set in Ankh-Morpork, as well.

If you want to start somewhere, I'd like to recommend Mort as a start for the character DEATH, The Light Fantastic for Rincewind, Guards ( ... )

God, you're good. I really wish I had half your talent. Believe me, I try. Your shading amazes me: I just stare at all the curves and angles for a good twenty minutes. You really have a gift. *takes my fangirling ass away*

Aaww, it took me a lot of observation, too, y'know. And even now, I'm certain that the shading isn't entirely right. *le sigh*

Wheee, fangirling arses! ;)

I've never read Discworld, but those drawings are great!

Something I've always wanted to see is The Maurarders dressed up like the Marx Brothers, have you ever seen their movies?

Thanks :)

Er, no, I haven't actually. I've heard the name, but I wouldn't for the world know what it's all about. Could you give me some info?

They were a wonderfull comedy team from the 30s, made lots of great, funny movies. One of the most famous is A Night at the Opera. There were originally 4 of them, Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and Zeppo but Zeppo wasn't in the later movies. The "equivalncy" I see is James=Groucho, Remus=Harpo, Sirius=Chico and Peter=Zeppo(but since neither Peter nor Zeppo are given much though most people leave thme out).
A good website is http://www.marx-brothers.org/
Even if you don't do the picture, if you can find their movies, check them out, they're awesome.:)

Oh well. *le sigh*

Euh, voor een korte weergave van de inhoud van de boeken: zie één van mijn comments hierboven, die lange als antwoord op mrs_weatherby's vraag. Heh.
