OMG! Where are the manga!Marie Antoinette from? :)))

I love seeing that quote around, and loved the jokingly way it was used in the movie when Marie Antoinette never actually said that in reality.

I know, she never said this and she never did other bad things that people of the time believed in! It's so sad :(

Oh, the manga are from a cartoon named the rose of versailles! Here in Italy was known as Lady Oscar! You can read about it on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rose_of_Versailles

Oh, just to make it clear: I like seeing that quote when it's in the same tongue-in-cheek way it was in the movie.

Yeah, it's sad. What's more sad is that people nowadays still believe in that version of the history. Like I've read somewhere, the winners write the History, and the winners in France were the "revolutionaries". :((
