So... would it have been like, bring the hand cuffs! had she just been honest, or what?

Lmao, oh my god. Just when I thought that scene couldn't have gotten any better, you say something like that! *Dies* That's really funny though. I totally would've done the same thing if I were her. Anything to get a part with that man!

Emma Thompson was going to appear in the film as God, but she backed out before filming began in order to have a baby.

WHAT? Aaahh, that would've been awesome! I love Emma so much. Alanis made a good God though, so I'm not too disappointed. ;]

Also.. as much as I love Timon and Pumbaa, I really can't see them singing that whole song! That scene always brings a tear to my eye though. :x (A lot of scenes in that movie do actually.. *sniffle*)

Yeah, it would have been much more personality to God, had she been Emma Thompson. :-) (Let's pretend she really is) :-D

It is absolutely impossible for me to image anybody other than David Bowie in Labyrinth... especially Michael Jackson!

It would have been sooo not hot! Just like this random child's fairy tale (I maintain there are adult fairy tales as well. Labyrinth may be one that goes into both genres). They'd have to lose Sarah-Jareth flirt, 'cause.. flirting with Michael Jackson.. even 1986' version... No, that's just not happening. And would you believe the music that would appear in the film?! I guess there's a reason why they were thinking of giving the part to any one of three singers, it probably came with score options as well. (Just realised how dirty that sounds. If one so chooses. *g*)
Even though Sting did/does great music, I figure it'd be just bland for the film. I can't see him bringing sexy!back with Jennifer Connolly in any alternative reality.
