Woah! that went to the dark place alright. Very very nice and again, it would seem that Damon still loves her, no matter what.
Loved it. Sometimes you need the dark, to be able to appreciate the light.

Well, everbody and their aunt seems to make vampire-Elena into a mix of a hormone driven, and/or angsty teenager. Sometimes she ends up with Damon, sometimes she doesn't... I just wanted to write something a little different, something a little more darker. It seemed to fit, considering what they all went through over the last few years.....

Wow. Just wow.

But really, this is one way that I envisioned this whole Elena-turning thing could have gone. She's been under so much pressure and strain from being the helpless one, why shouldn't she take all the power that she possibly can and embrace being a vampire to it's full extent?

He would go to the end of the world and back with her, dancing on the pyres of what they left in their wake.

Dancing and singing and dying inside but always by her side.

Completely. The fact that he'd do it, just to be with her and look out for her, even while it's killing him, is just so very Damon.

The thing is... she really didn't WANT to be a vampire. So I imagined that the human part of herself just fled the moment it could, leaving behind... a demon? I don't know. I some vampire lore, Vampires are humans who have died, and then their body was taken over by the vampire-demon. They where a whole other being, not the person they where before. No soul and stuff.
So I made Elena go through something similar.... Do I make sense at all? Don't even know xD.
