Hey, I don't think this chapter was boring. Not at all. Elena needed to come to terms with everything on her own and I think it was a nice touch to let her do it at her parents' grave. She really hasn't visited them in a long time and I think it's kind of sad that the show seems to have forgotten all about it. I would have thought that she'd go and 'talk' to her parents about John being her father... but I guess with everything going on Elena didn't find the time.
So I'm glad she found the time in your story.
And I can't wait to read Damon's easing into things on his own. Does he have some of Elena's memories as well? That was a great idea by the way, love it. Hopefully they'll understand each other better with those memories.

So, good luck with the moving, and take your time getting things in order. I know how stressful moving can be :-)

it's stressful alright... I have three little sisters here, and they are cranky as hell *lol*.
And I thought it's better to give her a few memories, than all of his feelings... that would be overkill, I think. So I'll make do with memories, so she gains inside of him. something like that^^.
