Dude! I totally feel for that. I think it was trandenza who said we need more Richard fics and I was all "Whuh? But EVERYONE loves Richard?" and then FF.Net reveal that this was no so.

And there was wailing and gnashing of teeth.

A great part of what made Superman Returns so fascinating for me was the idea of Richard being a human Superman. He is just SO. Damned. Nice! He'll always do the right thing, etc, (and BTW, likeadeuce but besides that he genuinely loves Lois and Jason.

A hostage situation, two armed robberies and a typhon later, Clark can still hear Remy and Bruce fighting.

He briefly thinks about running in to shove a pillow under Richard's head-- he'd get a concussion soon.

Richard thinks he could just say something about that time he met Remy in Prague, but Bruce's eyes are bugging out of his head and he's not sure Remy even remembers, so why bother?

He'll save it for some time when Bruce is running out of ammunition. Which, he figures, might be sometime in the next millenium.
