"Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines" 01-08-2014

Started playing Bloodlines again, because I realised that since it doesn't rely on the mouse so much that I could probably play it 'on-the-go' with R-2E-054. And to keep me playing I am going to try to post about it like I did back in 2006/2007. I'll be posting that to my Tumblr** though as I don't want to clutter my LiveJournal so much.

I'm not sure if you're interesting in playing with unofficial patches, but the unofficial expanded fan patch just updated again recently. I don't have a complete list of changes, but I'm pretty sure it includes a couple new maps, restores the cut music, and adds in the scrapped character histories option under character creation, among many other things. That said, there are some people who don't like this patch and feel it takes too many liberties.

(I only got to the Downtown section under the expanded fan patch, and that was three versions ago. That said, besides character creation, I didn't notice too much that was significantly different.)

What I've read of the patches was that the guy doing the most well known one changes so much & seems a bit power mad. I'd like one that just adds in missing stuff.

I'm also scared of patching since I had that unable to install error & the other problems with my desktop. I don't have an install disk for Windows 7.
