I'm going to try asking if there is anything I can do to help at the office to put towards my now large veterinary bill, but since it's a family business I doubt there is. I have made a Chip-In though (like I should have done with Lydia, but I'm not sharing around)--which may not work as I'm Canadian and if it's like Kickstarter you need to be American (I haven't checked).
I can't suggest any dry cat food because I have no idea on anything cat-related and I'm more of a dog lover, but I do hope your cat gets all energetic again soon. :)
I'm now looking to find something commercial for Minnow's (my oldest of 3 cats) fiber digestion & satiety foods. But it's confusing even if you did know! D:
Nickpants has been wonderfully playful the times I've been at my residence today! He seems so happy, and looks to be feeling much better.
I'm sorry to hear about Nicki's medical scares, and that I couldn't do more to help. I'm very glad he's doing better now and wish him a full recovery soon.
Sadly, I know nothing about cat food. Do the vets have any recommendations?
He is doing wonderful now! Still on a pill for the next few weeks (for the pain/inflammation/stop spasming), and trying to get him to eat urinary formula food. He also has been clingy, but I think he was terrified too. He has to go back in about 15 days to be re-examined, and HOPEFULLY I can get his needles then too (Rabies, feline leukemia etc.).
I asked the vets and they didn't know, and PetsUnlimited didn't either. I'm going to ask Middleton vets', but it will probably be a lot of running around and reading labels :[ It's too expensive to have 2 cats on special veterinary diets though (Minn's is $57 a bag and lasts almost 2 months), and Minnow's is really just the fiber content, so I'm hoping to find something.

I don't expect anything to come of it, but I figured at least I have one now!
