I've been listening to a lot of "Vampire: The Masquerade" music (and a hella lot of Elvis Costello) the last while to try to keep myself excited to play Bloodlines once I get stuff reformatted. I really want to get back to Santa Monica ( Read more... )

I'm glad you were able to get something for your sore throat and ears; they sound very painful. It sucks that the insurance won't cover all of the medication and seems to keep getting worse.

The rocks in your new tank are nice. Can the monkeys use an air filter/bubbler, or would that be too big/dangerous for them? *knows little to nothing about the care of water animals*

It is the cough more than anything that was the worst part. It hurt to breath in, but it doesn't now though I still keep coughing. It's productive now so things must be working-out, but I cough so much my side & back hurt :[ I'm feeling quite a bit better now, still very tired however.

They can! But I've read that sometimes it can cause algae to grow too fast for them to eat & it suffocates them. They need to be aerated though so I've been using a straw with holes poked in it along with a baby eardropper to carefully squeeze air in every few days. The company sells a Million-Bubbles Air Pump (hand pump) specifically for them, but It's $8 to order in America, and $16 to order from Canada :/ There's a kit they sell of various packets (like Sea-Medic medicine), the pump, & Aqua-Leash [like a pipette(sp?) for transporting single Monkeys], but again it's double the price for Canadians :/
