Bloodlines 04-08-2007

So I decided to buy a fire-axe since it's Lethality is 12 and my highest melee weapon is only 9.

I was asked by Fat Larry to go steal a suitcase from the Tong [he said he noticed I was buying from him regularly and not just like someone trying to guard their property). I loved how he discribed what he was looking for! It was this convoluted ( Read more... )

I never did this sidequest. Of course, with dev or Kyrie, if I can't see a way to sneak past someone or don't feel like taking the extra time to be sneaky, I just turn on Obfuscate.

Tried playing a character with only 1 Seduction...how the hell do you feed in Santa Monica?!

Rats, my friend. Rats and blood packs. None of my characters have ever had seduction ratings higher than three. dev doesn't mind rats and Nosferatu are expected to feed off rats and gain two blood points per rat instead of one. As for Sonjya, level one Thaumaturgy takes care of that; Blood Strike does damage to your opponent while also giving you back two blood points for every one you spend until the opponent dies. You can probably play the entire game just using Blood Strike.

I also almost never use Blood Buff; spends too many blood points for such a short duration.

The one character type I tried that I couldn't stand was one with a low hacking and lockpick rating.

I was scared I was going to Frenzy (I have no idea what triggers it, but I'm guessing ( ... )

I'm very sneaky >:3 [as I play Metal Gear Solid games]! Ventilation is my friend :D

Rats, my friend. Rats and blood packs.

Blood packs cost so much D: [I do use them like potion when 'on the battlefield' though] I'm just going to stick to hitting-on whatever has higher blood points and moves >.> [however no bestiality..."you'll find me in da club♪"...] I don't mind rats, and I even told Jack that "they can be polite and pass me the salt for my rat then" when told that most frown-on those who feed off rats. Lucky Tremere!

I used Blood Buff at the start to pick-locks until I leveled my Dexterity and such some. I now use it when in melee combat though since I am not good with it. I love the Blood Star (sp?) that I got from Strauss!

My Toreador has 3 in Hacking, and 4 in Lockpicking.

Ah! I figured as much. I'm glad it didn't happen, but now I'm curious to see it...

My dad was playing with it and for some reason used up all his blood; when he got to the beach, he frenzied and killed every single one of the Thin Bloods there.Didn't he ( ... )

Thief is sneaky, too, but it's set in a Victorian steampunk world and there is very little ventilation.

Blood packs cost so much D:

True that. Hence the rats. And feeding off of random homeless people (not Downtown, though) without killing them. And feeding off of enemies during quests. But I try to limit my blood usage.

Didn't he realize he needed to feed? What was his reaction to losing control and such?

You would think he'd feed first instead of killing them all, but apparently not. I think he got hit with a Humanity loss. I was shocked.

Did that cause them to all be Blood Bonded? I think it would not be fun to be part of your coterie D:I had that same worry, but that was before I realized that they ignored the Blood Bonding rules in Redemption. (Redemption and Bloodlines both pick and chose which rules they follow to a certain extent ( ... )
