Heh. Thanks. Writing action was actually part of my first foray into writing. So I guess you can say writing action sequences is part of my original...talent? idk how to put that, but point is it's part of what I started off with in writing. It somehow comes easier to me than anything, which is kind of weird. O.o

Heh! Kieran is actually like the one person I *didn't* picture as super Southern. I mean, they're all technically Southern, though (Jess and Kate are from Savannah and Kieran's from S.C.; later you'll get Gerard who is definitely Southern from boondocks, Ga.). That would be my love of fellow Southerners seeping in ( ... )

Heh, I wish I could do that. Action's one of those things I have to work at. Arguments and crazy character stuff and all that I can write, but action I have to work at. I'm thinking about working on that during NaNo :)

Kieran is actually like the one person I *didn't* picture as super Southern.

Lol, really? Wow. My imagination is being contrary again. *facepalm* You know, even though I've lived in Cali for years, I still think of myself in Northern terms. It took me a minute to realize that no, S.C. is not quite that Southern, lol.

You'll see her less damsel-y later on. Don't worry, I completely believe you on that. You've written awesome character growth plenty of times before :) That's part of the fun of novels, anyway- getting to see characters grow and change ( ... )

idk, but action comes natural to me, like I said, but dialogue tends to be my problem. For someone who's so fascinated by the way people talk and verbalize sentiments, it's really an interesting paradox.

It took me a minute to realize that no, S.C. is not quite that Southern, lol.

Well, South Carolina is pretty Southern -- I mean, they started the Civil War and all, heh -- but as far as people go... You have Southerners who are very Southern just by nature, and then people who are not. Plus people that tend to live in the big Southern cities, especially on the coast (like Charleston), are generally not really rooted Southerners; they tend to be transplants.

And yeah, I'm definitely going again this year. Funny, the first time I didn't want to, and now I can't imagine what else I'd do during November ^.^

I know! November is an uber stressful time for me, but I've one NaNo for five years and I can't imagine not doing it. XD
