Gosh, definitely angsty. But even with that, I just get this feeling that things are going to be alright for them, even if he never gets his sight back. I love this.
Sometimes when you get the 'blindness due to explosion' thing in fanfic or even on tv, there's always a fast resolution of it by the end of the episode, and for some reason I really like that there isn't one given, either way, with this.

*nod* It's not always easy, I'll tell you that. I've got one of those in another fandom in progress, and it's a lot of work to make it flow right and not resolve too fast and seem cheesy.

I can' tell you how much I liked this, or how good it was! I just wished it was longer, and, perhaps, a start to something chapter-y. :)
