Aw, thank you. I love how Sam called for Dean to protect him. And Dean's "Because Sammy can't keep his mouth shut" was just too funny. All around, such a cute fic. *grin*

I tried to show an established, tight brotherly relationship. Sam knows Dean will protect him then throws him under the bus later when John asks about why he was punished. Sam blames Dean. Dean blames Sam. They walk away nudging and poking each other. Only brothers can get away with that. Glad you liked it.

Ah, that was good, sweet Winchester boys. You always do such a good job with writing Sam and Dean as children. I liked the opening with Sam playing with the army figurines, John going through his notes, and Dean looking through his car magazine, it was a nice and quiet domestic scene, which we don't get too often. I felt really bad for Dean with the soap bit. I swear getting your mouth washed out with soap is worse then a spanking, my mom used to use dish soap which was God awful. I liked Deaan protecting Sam from getting his mouth washed out with soap by being honest about how bad it was, and telling him that he can prevent it from happening by not cussing anymore. It's great getting a new fic from you. It's been too long.

I'm glad you like how I write the boys. *g* For some reason my muse likes to write about them as youngsters. I never seem to finish any of my teen or adult stories. I think there's variations on how kids get their mouths washed out with soap. Once I saw somebody get their mouth washed out with a bar of Dial soap. God awful says it all. I was real careful what I said after that. I didn't want John to seem too harsh with Dean so I made up the two minute rule. I think Dean has been protecting and teaching Sam since they were little. He still does it as an adult. Thanks for your kind comment. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated.
