Gotta say, after the amazingness of 24 (RIP Michelle), I had so much trouble paying attention to GA that I finally popped a tape in and decided to try again later.

I'd heard about Palmer from a random CNN article, but MICHELLE! I had NO idea. Although I did notice the credits and wonder a little bit, but I never thought they'd do that. Palmer's character had run his course, but she was just so perfect in every way!

Sniffle.

(Although, the scene when Tony finally wakes up and learns about everything - which has gotta be soon, he bounced back from a neck wound after all! - will be incredible. My only consolation, really.)

I agree with you about President Palmer having run his course, they really were pushing it last season with his storyline. That really was extra Constitutional. Go Joel Surnow & Co. for pulling the plug on a loved character.

But MICHELLLE!!! I just can't believe she's dead and Tony's a widower. I'm sure they'll give CB something great when he wakes up, but I'm still in shock at this point and can't see past that. I had a hard enough time concentrating on the rest of the ep, much less anything else tonight. GA stood no chance.

My shock has manifested into denial. She's in danger! They brought Tony to CTU Medical to protect him, and they can't put the two of them together, they're a bigger target that way. So she's at another CTU medical someplace. I dunno. But she's Michelle, she can't be dead!

I know!!! I had read someplace that a couple people were supposed to die in the premiere, but I didn't know who. I was completely shocked when they shot President Palmer, and then I figured Michelle or Tony had to die...which sucks. I didn't want them to die, they were so happy!! And yeah, it sucks that Tony is in the hospital, but in S2 (I think, or maybe S3) didn't Tony get shot at the beginning of the season and he ended up getting out of bed after a couple of episodes against doctors orders? I hope that's what happens.

I taped 24, since I had to work, so I haven't gotten to see GA yet.

I mean its Tony & Michelle! What's 24 w/out them? GUH! I mean like I said I knew people were dying, but not her, not Tony either.

It really was very good. But I'm in a bit of shock still.

firstly, i need a tony/michelle icon. like yesterday.

and yes, when michelle was ...hit, i screamed, cried, was outraged. it was so dramatic and well done, but come on. tony and michelle are frankly the only ones worth shipping [i agree with not shipping really anyone on this show] and the fact that that is literally, dead is depressing. god tony is gonna be a mess.

Tony's my favorite character so I'm just torn up anticipating what's going to happen with him when he wakes up and realizes she's dead. Oh MAN!

Wow. I haven't watched 24 since the dire Season 3. For some reason Michelle always annoyed me, but not as much as Kim and Chloe is her name?

Ohhh I love Chloe. She & Michelle are the only females I like on 24. I didn't like S3, I enjoyed S4.
