Ha ha ha that is hilarious! Yeah, it is totally gross and creepy and I would really rather be cremated and thrown away. How creepy to go to some graveyard where you have no memories with the loved one, and stand over their rotting body to try to be close to their soul. Ick.
aHA! You would think cremation would be cheaper, wouldn't you? In fact it's about the same. And no less gross, let me tell you. Jesse saw a cremation in one of her paramedic classes, and there is so much oil, fat, and grease that is produced when you burn a human body, so they have to collect all that and carry it off, and then the "ashes" that they give you of your loved one is really just the dirt at the bottom that's left over, which was basically there before, because they don't exactly clean out the machine in between each cremation.
Yeah, I guess I really don't want someone attaching significance to my dead body, so I woulldn't care if the "ashes" left over were actually from me or not. That sucks that it's not cheaper, though.

The other option, which isn't near as clean as cremation is...donation. If someone can find some use for my body, I think it should be used. If they can cart away any tissue to help people, so be it...if they can use it to train medical personel on it, so be it. You can still put a shrine, I mean gravestone, up if you want. If you don't want a gravestone, would you prefer to be memorialized in some other way? A park? A garden? A skating rink? How about a economics library?

Hey, yeah, I like that idea too. I think the main reason cremation seems less gross to me is that it's over and done with, and it doesn't involved my loved ones traisping throuhg some creepy graveyard where they've never been before, and certainly never were with me, in order to pay some sort of respects to my dead body, which will mean nothing. So yeah. Also, hopefully this would be much cheaper, cuz it's so stupid that someone has to deal with all the expenses as well as their grief.

Surely cremation is cheaper?
