I think we've talked about this before but I'm glad about you going natural.
Coconut oil is great for hair. :) Plus is doesn't smell as strongly as olive oil. Some other things I can suggest are taking biotin and switching to sulfate/silicone free shampoos and conditioners. You can find them at walmart, L'Oreal makes a good line. A boar bristle brush and a wooden combs are great as well, much more gentle on your hair.
I did this...prosperity test with my hair last. The strand literally sat at the top of the cup, so I think that means I have low prosperity and the NaturallyCurly website recs grape seed oil and another one that's escaping me atm.
