Yeah, that was pretty much my take on the situation. They're rich, they're influential, and everybody understands about the curse, so...

Of course, just taking what we write on faith works too! :-)

Plus, ever since Henry VIII and Martin Luther there have been churches around that don't have to answer to the Catholic one in Rome and have more or less their own rules, so... yeah, I'm sure one priest somewhere will be convinced. And the region is probably too high on delicious scandal to not be excited about the wedding (if they like it is one question, but I'm sure they'll all attend).

LOL. This is true. :-) Possibly the worst thing is, I tend to read them going, "Oh will you just get over it and get to the sex?!"
