Wailing! Wailing and lamentation!

Mar 30, 2009 20:06

My laptop is off at the doctor's. This means I will be somewhat incommunicado for a while, as my husband's monitor hurts my delicate eyes and his keyboard is wonky.

On the upside, I may fight with fewer idiots in fanficrants this way. Possibly.

I dunno which was stupider: the OMG THE RAPE VICTIM WHO DOESN'T FIGHT BACK MUST SECRETLY WANT IT or WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU IF YOU DON'T LIKE PERIODS IN MPREG? YOU MUST BE SELF-HATING.

Except for the part where there's a WELL-DOCUMENTED phenomenon where a lot of women get sort of petrified and don't know what to do - the case of Louise Ogborn is a good example.

P-Periods in Mpreg. I'm the kind of person that looks on Mpreg skeptically ANYWAY, but there's not even room for skepticism with periods. G-God.

It was like, 'ARE YOU NEW TO FANDOM?' (And yeah, I think mpreg is ridiculous, so to be defending it on any level was weeeird.)
