I am watching NCIS, and it occurs to me that the reason I unabashedly love this show-- well, this is one reason, anyway-- is that it's not afraid to call characters out on their bullshit. That's why I love The Wire. Because everybody's right some of the time, and everybody's capable of being a complete dick, and people will call them out on it. That, and the tight fast-moving plots, awesome dialogue, and the fact that it's overall just one of the best TV shows I've ever seen. It doesn't have a single weak episode.

I've had that on my Netflix queue forever, and keep meaning to get there. I loved Homicide: Life on the Streets so much, and many of the same players are involved. (Plus Baltimore!)

I LOVE NCIS IT IS MY FAVORITE CRIME SHOW ON TELEVISION. And considering that I watch a a lot of crime shows, that is saying something. Just. The chemistry between all the members of the cast, the head-smacks, Abby in general, the banter... adl;kfjsd ♥ ♥ ♥

Also, if you wrote NCIS vampire hunters? I would totally read it. Just sayin'.

I don't watch that many crime shows, but I often stop and watch NCIS when it's on. Oh, I love Abby. So much.

Can you imagine Abby talking about vampires? OH GOD.

I inherited a deep and abiding love of procedural crime dramas from my mother. We also watch the real-life crime stuff, too. It drives my dad UP THE WALL.

I like Ziva so much more than Kate because she just does not put up with the crap.
