Oh, lovely. Why can't more people write Trowa and Quatre like this? Sad and sweet and lost instead of merely fluffy and very very gay.

Funny thing about Gundam Wing is I've never been able to stay awake through the canon - they start spouting political intrigue and I find myself waking up an hour later with my husband laughing at me and saying (again) how he thinks he's found the answer for my insomnia.

That said, though, the fanfic is so frequently wonderful, that it always makes me want to try the canon again. Quatre and Trowa both seem so very real and their situation so poignant here in your drabble... if only the canon could keep my attention so well. :)

The trick is to have email or something open, so that when they start blah blah politics blah blah colonies you can check email and then look up again when it's back to the boys.

They're awfully sweet, and I must confess the canon kicks the ass of, say, Weiss Kreuz!

I hadn't considered the email surfing approach, but now that you mention it, it sounds like a good plan. I'll have to try that the next time. XD
