What cracks me up is that earlier in the series, I was sure that the main ship in the series was Trowa/Heero because Trowa nursed Heero bavk to health and followed him all over anf helped him out and let him pilot Trowa's Gundam.

...and the episodes you just watched happened, and I realized why it wasn't.

The politics of GW make no sense. At first it's cool how the various factions split and become subfactions and start fighting one another, but then it gets to the point where every decision Treize makes seems to be just, well, random. And contradictory to what he did two episodes before.

And I spent a while wondering if that was exactly the point, but then I figured GW was a bit shallow for me to be reading that much into it, and the writers were just making crap up as they went along.

Treize I can fanwank as doing whatever he deems necessary at that moment to get power, and not being particularly consistent or good at it. The fact that all the other factions just seem to change their minds at the drop of a hat, I'm having a bit more trouble with.
