It's very Nagi. And has all kinds of double meaning if you look for it, amusingly. Though perhaps I overanalyze.

Unfortunately, a blue-eyed cat is not a Bombay. The eye-colour is part of the definition of the breed, and must fall within the range from gold to copper. >__>

I do so love your take on Nagi and Mamoru. Nagi's biting sense of humor is simply perfect, and Mamoru's susceptibility to any kind of affection is funny on the surface while a bit grim underneath. Mumbai has sooo got Mamoru's number, but the thought that Nagi wanted a Bombay it's perfectly acceptable to cuddle in his office is charming as hell.

And yes, the name joke made me giggle.
