I am torn, because I enjoy the hell out the shipping, but I also wish Tiger would occasionally remember he had a daughter.

Like, the audience knows that Rotwang has been iced over and Maverick is elsewhere, but Tiger can't know that Kaede is okay. Couldn't his 'last' words have been 'hey, go and save my kid' (not that she needs saving) rather than 'oh, the happy happy tiems we spent together, Bunnykins you're so pretty' >:(

But I am a sucker for this show and will forgive it pretty much anything.

I think he trusts Kaede and the Heroes, though, the same way they trust him. I think it would almost have narratively contradicted all the YES, WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER POWER OF FRIENDSHIP stuff if he'd worried about her. She's a Hero, and Rock Bison promised to take care of her, so She Will Be Okay.

Besides, we all know he's not dying. NO DYING.

Maybe Saito will pull an Iron Man.
