It was shockingly easy, in part because I cheated and didn't do a lot of the stuff I was supposed to do (like putting crushed ice in the glass, as I have no ice in the house).
I used this to cook the tapioca, and cheated even more by using milk and that liquid chai mix stuff. I think it would be amazing with Earl Grey and crushed ice, but I'd cooked the tapioca and decided I simply could not wait until my ice had frozen, lol.
Ooh, a chewy drink! (Trufax, I have never, ever in my life had tapioca, because my mother has a severe phobia about it and since becoming an adult I've never thought to buy any, due to lack of childhood exposure).
It's oddly addictive! I tried it and was like, 'this is really odd. I want another one.' (My husband hates tapioca, I probably haven't had tapioca pudding in a decade. These big tapioca pearls are quite different than the little ones I used to have pudding out of.)
