Dude, that Haiti fic is fucked up. The very concept of using such a monumental real world tragedy, and a recent one at that, as a decorative backdrop to your fantasy romance fic is indicative of ignorant sheltered privilege on an almost indescribable level. And photomanips using actual survivor photos blows me away more than the actual fic itself. I wish we could send both of them to Haiti to work there and have a dose of uncomfortable reality. Shit.
