In short: Netflix is a whore because it took me forever to get this damn disc and I could hardly remember wtf was going on.

Do watch Endless Waltz. One of your "where isthe...?" questions becomes even more pertinent there.

I agree with your comment about Heero?Relena working better when they're a part. I'm not a fan of the pairing (or either character, TBH, though I think Relena improves a lot when you don't watch the entire thing in the space of maybe 10 days) but they make decent sense when they're separated, and grate when they're together.

Trowa is the brain? Except you kinda gave that to Quatre.

I will watch Endless Waltz! I think I'm going for Twin Peaks next in the queue, though, to help fill the LOST-shaped hole in hubby's heart.

Maybe Trowa is the left side of the brain and Quatre the right side. Or the other way around.

THAT IS TRUE also if I skipped most of the diplomatic stuff and the fight scenes I didn't care about it would take, like, three hours.

Bwa-ha-ha! I totally shipped Trowa and Heero at first, but the last disc is so Trowa/Quatre it's not even funny.

Quatre is canonically Arabian. Statistically, probably Muslim. Um yeah blonde I don't know, he also has 42 clone sisters so I assume they were genetically engineered to be blonde. And psychic. And insane. Maybe the last part was an accident.

I loved the bit where Duo opens a door and reels back in horror. I totally thought he had walked in on Heero and Relena having sex, but it turned out to be just the mad scientists.

There we go! He could always dye his hair. He's almost the type. I bet, actually, it's really hard to be psychic in a war and not go crazy.

Either prospect is equally terrifying.

I love Wufei because he is such a prissy little snot and has such a wounded soul and waves his sword around a lot.

And damn, that battle between Treize and Wu Fei. Damn.

True fact: When I first got into online fandom, it was for The X-Files. One day someone in chat mentioned Gundam Wing, and anime in general. She raved about 13x5 (took me a while to figure that out), and I went searching for fic. Hooked. Damn.

There should be tons of fic online, and a good dose of yuri (because the girls have to kept busy so the boys can be together, duh) as well.

Trowa is the feet of GW: steadfast, dependable, stable, necessary.

Duo is the hands of GW: fast, all over the place, need them for thievery.

Wufei is the dick of GW: impulsive, hot-tempered, explodes easily and often, mopes afterward!

13x5 is a very legitimate pairing!

I'm afraid some of the old archives may have expired. I went hunting for a fic that was recced on try_this_fic ages ago and couldn't find the damn thing. Which was a pity, because I wanted to know if it was as much fun if you actually, you know, knew the characters.

It's been a loooooong time since I've read anything there, but if I remember right the author Maldoror posted some excellent fic.
