Brendon had been tossing and turning for what felt like hours trying to get comfortable. On top of the increase in Things to Worry About, his body was aching and the baby was restless. Theresa and Dr. Pierson assured him this was normal, but as much of a relief as that was, it still sucked.
He eventually gave up trying to sleep

I love how you handled Brendon's sexual identity crisis - it was very real, I could see it as he started to realize things that had been there all along.
I also love how you dealt with the mpreg- it wasn't just casually accepted or ridiculous, but you didn't tell some convuluted story about how it happened, just hinted that there was probably some scientific basis for it and then went back to the freaking out :D
Haley is always going to be the ruler of the girlfriends in my head - so you totally win for your portrayal of her too! I also like that Keltie was pretty amazing as well ( ... )

Thank you so much! I'm happy the characterizations worked for you and that the handling of the mpreg has been so successful thusfar. It was hard to find a balance between over-explaining and letting it be. That Brendon's sexual crisis is something so many people have responded well to is more than I could have asked for with that particular arc. I was hoping it would be realistic and so I'm glad it is.
That was one of my favorite scenes, too! It popped into my head and I had to write it and I'm glad you liked it (and that you liked the three of them; they gave me fits with their love triangle-ness but it was exciting to write).
Thanks so much for this lovely comment! I'm all aflutter. ♥

I just wanted to say thank you. I'd been wondering when you were going to post. I saw this story earlier and was going to come back later to copy it. Then I was looking and realized, hey! this is the story I beta-ed. I was so happy to have the honor of beta-ing for you and the way you mentioned and thanked me was so sweet. I pretty much look like this :D right now. I couldn't have done much if I didn't have a firm base to start with. Your story is lovely and really made me feel.

Jon making the, understandably pissed, comment about HIV was really potent, and I'm glad it was included because yeah, duh, Brendon. I would've liked to see a bit more of an "oh shit" reaction from all parties on that front, but I like that it was at least addressed.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and that all of those things worked for you because they were fun for me to write and weave throughout the story.
That was, hands down, one of my favorite scenes. Not even the whole part, just Jon's bit. I figure it's hard for young people to wrap their heads around the idea of HIV and AIDs and given how scary it is, it was probably easier for them to brush it off and say it didn't happen, let's just freak out about the problem at hand. But Jon knows what's up.
Thanks for the wonderful feedback. ♥
