Rosellas In the Garden

We've had Rosellas in our front garden on and off since the start of winter (we started putting seed bells out when they first appeared). I took some photos in June and decided to try one of those colour focus thingies that I love so much :)

No problems! Actually, living in the outskirts of the city as I do, Rosellas and other parrots are a little exotic for me too! Their colours are just so breathtaking. We did get a flock of very noisy green parrots last year during the apple season and black, white and sulphur-crested cockatoos do sometimes fly over our neigbourhood. I guess all in all, we're pretty damn lucky! :D
Plus, you haven't really experienced birds until you witness a flock of 150 black cockatoos flying overhead at sunset. The noise is unreal!
