He blinked, startled by the sound of her voice. It wasn't until then that he realized somewhere in the midst of his contemplation, he had simply... stopped.
"Oh," he murmured, clearing his throat as he moved to catch up with her. "My apologies."

She examined every bit of it as closely as she could. Nope still ordinary. If she appeared at the moment, one could see her frowning. No wonder they could never find the Orden.
"You've been distracted for a while." Kate finally spoke up. If this was supposed to be her comrade she had to start treating him like one. His behavior on the train earned the right too. "Is everything alright?"
