Waiting on your time to live again

To say that she is apprehensive is a gross understatement. Underneath the steely determination, she is terrified. She is leaving her home for what could be the last time, fleeing to an uncertain refuge with an organization whose goals are diametrically opposed to those she has cherished for so long. Why, today of all days, is the train late?

Isaak checked the time on his antique pocket watch as the train station came into view. Only ten minutes late. Not too bad, all things considered...

Still, it was enough, apparently, to send Caterina into near-hysterics. Or at least, what passed for such where she was concerned. She was pacing.

"You're not particularly well acquainted with trains, are you?" he inquired by way of greeting as he stepped down onto the platform. "They're always late."

"He does have a point Lady Caterina." A calm voice spoke up in Caterina's earring piece. It was fortunate the former Cardinal had so many of these. Appearing on a train would cause chaos. "Things have been going well enough so far you must admit."

It was a dark day when Kate agreed with the Orden. It also likely meant that Armageddon was about to happen, again. "That's because no one is left alive to care." she muttered.

Though one would think Abel would break ....everything. "Remind me, I need to send Abel a change of sddress." she muttered, not really even joking.

Isaak favored the former Cardinal with a smirking smile as he ushered her along the platform toward the train they would be boarding together. "You can use our stationery," he offered graciously, trying to imagine the look on Abel's face. It would be glorious.
