There's something I don't get about last night's House ( cut for spoilers. )

Yes, I agree. I think he chose to die and took that way of doing it; which was totally his call.

She shouldn't have said she knew he took them when she didn't see it, but it's easy to tuck tablets in your cheek and pretend.

I'm glad its not just me! I was a little disappointed in Cuddy, but I thought House handled it pretty well. I saw a lot people saying that she should have been fired, but that just doesn't seem fair to me. Cause you're right, he choose not to take them because he didn't want to get better. And at that point, I don't think I could blame him at all.

Yeah, that was my problem. I mean, if they'd wanted to play the 'he wants to die so he's not going to actually voluntarily take things' then I'd understand it. But if he wanted to live, as he seemed to, then wouldn't he mention that oh yeah, those pills you prescribed? I never actually swallowed them.

Which, yeah, doesn't make her less culpable. But it wasn't a toddler who would fling them on the floor without realizing their significance.

Exactly, if a doctor gives you some pills and says they'll make you better you would think that if you wanted to get better you'd take them. I think that maybe he didn't necessarily want to die, but maybe he wasn't sure he wanted to keep living. Who knows.
Especially when he kept getting worse and worse and never said a word about not taking the pills. Especially when his blood turned green!

I haven't watched House regularly in a while but this makes me wish I had seen the episode because it sounds really intriguing.

Basically a guy who already had a seriously debilitating disease (I can't remember what) came in to the hospital with another something else that made him pass out in the middle of the street and almost get hit by traffic, and he's saved only by his companion dog. So House already knows what he thinks is wrong with him and sends his new job applicants out to solve it. One girl figures it out right away, its some type of worms he got while in Thailand and gives him the pills that'll make them go away. They do some more tests and conclude that it works ( ... )

Thanks!

Sounds interesting and they're getting new characters as well, I guess. It has been awhile since I've watched, obviously.
