Aziraphale's so smiley, of course he has dimples :)! Oh, how I love that angel. I'm working hard on the whole GIMP thing, it's difficult transition in creative process from traditional media. This was an experiment in layering so I'm glad you don't hate it. I'd added some textures, but they destroyed the details so I got rid of them. I was trying to create a look to use for your whole fic. I've aaaalmost got it the way I want it. I've got some other scenes in mind, but I'd love your input on the next one. What would you like?
That chapter, ngk. I'm so glad my music degree is done, otherwise I would have a *great* deal of difficulty getting through violin recitals. ;)
I wasn't going to post this to Tadfield yet(I didn't want to step on your toes if you hated it), but with your blessing I absolutely will. I would be totally thrilled if you wanted to link to this in the story! *gavottes by herself*
I love love love your use of perspective: the way Aziraphale's hand coming out of the picture catches the eye there and then draws the eye up along the line of his bow to Aziraphale himself, and then the perspective shifts the viewer's eyes to the side and father back into the picture, where Crowley is standing, and BAM, there are his eyes staring right at us. Me. I have no words. I had to stare at this picture for a long, long time to figure out what it was about the framing that had made it hit me quite so hard.
Crowley is absolutely perfect, I tell you. His mischievous stare right into the camera and through the fourth wall is a thing of beauty. It's those two tiny fleck of bright white in his eyes that really bring his stare to life. The spectacles and his hair make me want to squee, because to us they look dated, but at the same time I can tell that back in the day, Crowley was still dressed like one sharp, flash bastard
( ... )
Oh Jane, your reviews always make me blush scarlet! You have this way of noticing all the little details I hope people will notice without my saying anything, and then you describe how you experienced viewing it and I literally die of happiness every single time! I am so, so incredibly thankful for your feedback about the perspective because I wasn't sure if it worked. My doubts have disappeared! :)
"His hair is so delightfully foofy!" THATS IT! That is exactly the word I needed to describe it in my mind. Perfect descriptor there!
Now I have to go splash cold water on my face before someone sees how flushed I am. Thank you so much!
Crowley is utterly mischievous and sexy - the hair falling into his eyes is just... *SWOONS AGAIN* - and oh my goodness, I just want to bury my hands in Aziraphale's hair. And his dimple, and the sepia tone and the violins!
Also, I love how Crowley is a bit more sharper/angular while Azi is a little rounder. <3
I loved that chapter, it was like music porn, and your illustration is perfect!
It's like they were making sweet beautiful love through the music. XD Always? Um, sorry, but what else of yours have I commented on? *sleep-deprived and a bit slow*
Oh, I love this! I love Aziraphale's smile! And you gave them REAL EYEBROWS!! Usually when people draw men they somehow give them very feminine eyebrows. BUT NOT YOU. Oh, I love this.
Thanks! Azira's smile is my favorite part. It was there, in my head when I listened to the music for the chapter and I HAD to draw it or I was going to die of angel-smile induced glee.
Very dangerous, those angels.
Eyebrows are, apparently, my thing. I've gotten more comments about them than anything else and it's AWESOME that everyone enjoys them so much!

You know how I love my pudgy Azi... even when he's thin, I imagine he still has chubby cherub fingers and squishy, pinch-able, cheeks.
And that hair, ugh, I wanna bury my fingers in it too. You wouldn't believe how many times I smudged the drawing trying to do just that...
Music porn, indeed it was. I swooned myself when I read it. Thank you for commenting, I always enjoy your feedback. ;)

Are we talking about his face, or...?

That entry was me too. I'm trying to de-lurk, it's a process.
"Are we talking about his face, or...?" Anything you can imagine, I've experimented a bit with the options. *poker face*
