Oh for the love of God!!! First he plays Judas/Dracula, then he plays Attila, then the Phantom, soon he will be Beowulf, and, to top it off, he had the audacity to become Andre Marek incarnate. Busy busy weekend.

Watched oodles of Live 8 - overall a really well organized event. Not too many glitches. A lot of amazing performances - not as memorable or inspiring as Live Aid was though.  Niviene  conveniently kept track of all acts/performances. My fav - probably seeing George Michael sing with Paul McCartney, He has such a luvly voice - too bad ( Read more... )

In the past 60 seconds, I experienced simultaneously:

a) Heaven on their Minds (movie version)....playing in the background when....
b) courier arrives to make me sign for a package directed to "Andre"...at which time my web browser arrives upon...
c) Italian Vanity Fair...*aaaaahhhh....*

OK - I should recover in a few hours....or so.

Random thoughts on Monday morning about Sunday evening, etc.:

My hair has been looking quite atrocious of late due in part to a combination of high heat and humidity and a woefully overdue haircut date. The muchly needed trim is scheduled to take place one week from today. Hallelujah
