The year is 2112. For the last 40 years, rain has been carefully controlled across the globe after an ambitious scientist masters the ability to control the weather. First World Countries, forced to pay an exuberant amount to secure rain, have declined. Locked in a struggle over Italy’s lakes, the three major powers of Europe have long abandoned the hope of destroying the scientist.
Secure in her power, Ophelia attempts to make improve the world, punishing certain countries for their crimes and rearing others to become more powerful and self-confident. Aided by an extensive network of spies that cover the globe, known as the Rodent Network, she has eyes everywhere.
Hell and High Water follows both Paige, a young naïve teacher who is framed for her girlfriend’s murder and forced to flee the London, and Emily, an ex-service woman trying to reintegrate into society.
Head Above Water follows Guillem, a double agent who works for both the CIA and the Rodent Network, as he tries to solve London’s problems while deciding to what side he is really loyal. Alternatively, Amy, a homicide detective, tries to solve a series of execution type murders that have been terrorizing London.
Water Under the Bridge is still largely unplanned: I hope that some form of plot will spawn some time soon.
I won’t always label my pieces with the exact book, though I will try, since there is often a crossover.
