Pain reliever, msde from the inner bark of the black willow commonly, one of the very earliest known herbal pain killers. Taste really nasty though, worth it. Have a cracked rib I think and its causing me alot of discomfort on top of that I got a touch of something the kids were passing around last week, stomach problems mostly but some congestion with it. That hurt with the rib, so thats why I wanted the Willow bark. They sale it at Herbs and Arts , where I hardly ever get to go (its downtown) Pam mentioned she was making the trip for some other things so worth a shot to get some. Thanks for the well wishes, every little wish helps.

ah cool, i figured it was an herbal remedy but wasn't familiar with it's properties and usage. ouchie on the cracked rib! i would love to open up a botanical/herbal shop here in town, but i don't know if the customer base would be large enough. the ex-wife of the local chiropractor is giving me lots of encouragement to do it, she is really excited by the idea, but somehow i don't think one customer is going to do it LOL!

You would have to study and learn alot, but if you were careful with how you market it, (no using words like wicca, voodoo, craft, etc) as long as they could fits it with their world view, they would buy it. Everyone has heard of old Grannie's spring tonic, or cold cure and alot of those people automatically add that into their daily lives with out even realizing it. Lots of good common herbs that they are used to mixed in with the exotics. Many of those people in that area grow their own kitchen herbs for cooking, they just need a nudge to see how beneficial they can be in a tea for health reasons. Once they accepted that the rosemary they have always used for flavoring is also a good cold rememdy in a tea form, its only a small step to using herbs they have never heard of. A good apothecary, is a good apothecary even if he is selling that siberian ginseng stuff. If you can raise the ( ... )
