My 70th published short story is now in the world--but not in the usual sense of "published". It's unavailable on paper or in any readable form. Instead, you have to put your feet up and listen to me read it to you. I hope that won't pose an unbearable inconvenience ( Read more... )

so, all this time your homepage has stated "Author of seventy published short stories and twenty-nine novels," you've been lying to us? It was only 69!

If you can add one, then so can I - and tell people I'm published ;)

Mea culpa! Because I'm so slow at updating my site bio, it sometimes runs slightly ahead. The novel count is up to, but all will be restored come April, when the last of the books for this year comes out.

Also, the short story count changes depending on whether you count Cenotaxis or not. It's published as a standalone novella, but it's about the length of two of the pieces I have coming out in anthologies this year. Because 70 made a better attention-grabber, this morning it didn't count. :-)

Perhaps I should add an error estimate: "author of seventy published short stories, +/- 2".
