Okay, so I've been following y'all's recommendations for downloaded serieseses, and it took me a couple of months but I got through "Six Feet Under" and HOLY SHIT what a good show.  It's so fantastic to watch these excellent shows from beginning to end with few pauses in between the episodes...I really appreciated the final season (especially the ( Read more... )

You know, I could not get into Rome or Carnivale. Someone commenting mentioned Mad Men, and I loved that too..!

And a friend introduced me to It's Always Sunny..and god I love Danny DeVito's character so much.

Are my eyes missing United States of Tara? That was pretty good, definitely not a Six Feet Under caliber but I enjoyed it. People raved about The Wire but I have not seen it yet.

Both Carnivale and TRome need to be "watched" not just listened to. There's a lot going on in the visuals.

The Wire is, imho, the best serries ever to be put on to television. The writing is top notch, the stories and charcters are very compeling and the acting is , oh my god, good. But again, this is a show the you'll need to pay cloase attantion to while watching. The writing is very dense and there's a lot to follow.
