So, you seem to be out of your slump. Ooh, a His Girl Friday, you keep this up and you'll be doing lots of old HP remakes...not that that would be a bad thing =)
You definetly have the style and tone for this sort of thing.

Well, my film degree has to be good for *something* doesn't it?
Shamefully, however, I did not ONCE watch Casablanca for a class in four years of filmschool. I did, however, see parts of "Triumph of the Will" and "Birth of a Nation" in about twelve different classes...

Well... *looks confused* Editing is a component of film. You can't have one without the other.
Well, you can, but when you do, you end up with Andy Warhol's "Empire." *shudders*
My degree is actually in Moving Image Arts; I studied every aspect of filmmaking from screenwriting, to directing and cinematography, to editing and producing. I shot actual 16 mm films and had to edit them with a razor blade and tape. =) I also shot mini DV and edited it on an Avid. I wrote screenplays, learned about volts and amps and wattages, hauled around 70 pound cameras and 400 pound dollys, clapped clapboards, went blind in editing bays, and cried "ACTION!"
Awwww... *huggles Hermione, who I don't even normally like*
Best detail: Neville's Mint Julep
But Lacy, hon, I'm going to take away your "somehow" "somewhat" and "sort of" keys. heheheee. :-P It's almost (but not quite) as pervasive as me with my ", then"'s.

Well, just leave it there. It's probably sulking. It'll come back out when it gets hungry...
