Actually I have no idea if this building has a roof that is even flat; it's not like I've seen it. And I've never tried to grow anything before either, but it's really oddly fascinating. I need to read more about this, yes.

Our building does indeed have a flat roof. But I'm afraid you do not have access to any floors higher than mine without the express permission of those that dwell on them. And seeing as you have yet to make any impression upon them at all, I can assure you that their answers will be 'no.'

I dress the way I do to blend into the background and be inconspicuous. You, on the other hand, attract a wealth of attention. Once you grow older, do trust me when I say that you will not want unneeded attention.

It all depends on what neighborhoods you frequent. I tend to visit the areas of the city better known for their class.

It was not my intention to be a 'jerk.' If I were as such, I would have forbidden you to wear those sorts of clothes. As it is, I'm quite lenient. You will eventually come to find that I am by far not the strictest person in this household.

I don't get those people that say ignorance is bliss; my life wasn't remotely blissful before, it wasn't awful, but it was difficult, that's for sure.
